Una Aventura Épica en el coreazón del Pirineo

La Andorra Epic llega a su fin, consolidándose como una prueba exigente y de alto nivel. Nuestros equipos han rendido al máximo en cada etapa, afrontando con solidez tanto los retos físicos como técnicos del recorrido. Fueron cuatro etapas de puro mountain bike a través de los paisajes salvajes del Pirineo andorrano, donde la altitud, el terreno técnico y la estrategia marcaron cada jornada. Y como siempre, el Cannondale ISB Sport estuvo a la altura del desafío, dando lo mejor en cada metro.

An Epic Adventure in the heart of the Pyrenees

The Andorra Epic has come to an end, establishing itself as a demanding and high-level competition. Our teams performed at their best in every stage, facing both the physical and technical challenges of the terrain with resilience. It was four stages of pure mountain biking through the wild landscapes of the Andorran Pyrenees, where altitude, technical terrain, and strategy shaped each day. And, as always, Cannondale ISB Sport rose to the challenge, giving their all every meter of the way.

Riccardo Chiarini & Peeter Pruus: Cerca del podio, firmes entre los mejores

El dúo líder del equipo volvió a demostrar por qué están entre los mejores. Desde la primera etapa marcaron un ritmo fuerte y constante, moviéndose siempre en el grupo de cabeza. Rozaron el podio en varias ocasiones y firmaron una magnífica 6.ª posición en la clasificación general, dejando claro que su conexión sobre la bici es tan sólida como su determinación.

Riccardo Chiarini & Peeter Pruus:
Close to the podium, standing strong among the best 

The team’s leading duo once again proved why they are among the elite. From the very first stage, they set a strong and consistent pace, always moving within the lead group. They came close to the podium on several occasions and secured an excellent 6th place overall, proving that their connection on the bike is as solid as their determination.

Martí Arán y Sergio Gutiérrez: Juventud que resiste, aprende y avanza  

La pareja más joven del Cannondale ISB Sport vivió su propia epopeya. Martí Arán y Sergio Gutiérrez demostraron una compenetración envidiable y una capacidad de sufrimiento que va más allá de su edad. Una desafortunada avería mecánica en la segunda etapa truncó sus aspiraciones de top 10, pero no su espíritu. Lejos de rendirse, se crecieron ante la adversidad y acabaron la carrera con una meritoria 12.ª posición en la general.

Martí Arán & Sergio Gutiérrez:
Youth that endures, learns, and progresses  

Cannondale ISB Sport’s youngest pair experienced their own epic journey. Martí and Sergio showed enviable teamwork and a capacity for endurance beyond their years. An unfortunate mechanical failure during the second stage dashed their hopes for a top-10 finish, but not their spirit. Far from giving up, they rose to the occasion in adversity and completed the race with a commendable 12th place overall.

Costanza Fasolis y Pili Fernández: Un inicio con fuerza, una salida con valentía

En la categoría femenina, el tándem formado por Costi y Pili comenzó con energía y determinación, dejando claro desde el inicio su ambición en carrera. Sin embargo, problemas estomacales obligaron a Costi a abandonar, una decisión difícil pero responsable, priorizando la salud por encima del resultado. Pili mostró un gran compromiso y ya piensa en los próximos retos. Porque también en los momentos difíciles se forjan las verdaderas deportistas.

Costanza Fasolis & Pili Fernández:
A strong start, a courageous exit

In the women’s category, the duo formed by Costanza Fasolis and Pili Fernández began with energy and determination, clearly showing their ambition from the outset. However, stomach issues forced Costi to withdraw. A difficult but responsible decision, prioritizing health over results. Pili displayed great commitment and is already focused on upcoming challenges. Because true athletes are also forged in difficult moments.

Próximos retos

La experiencia en la Andorra Epic ha sido tan dura como enriquecedora, dejándonos valiosas lecciones, muchas sonrisas y una motivación renovada para seguir mejorando. Ya estamos preparando la próxima gran cita: la Swiss Epic. Nuevas etapas, nuevos retos, pero la misma pasión que nos impulsa a dar siempre lo mejor.

Looking ahead 

The experience at the Andorra Epic was as tough as it was rewarding, leaving us with valuable lessons, many smiles, and renewed motivation to keep improving. We are already preparing for the next major event: the Swiss Epic. New stages, new challenges, but the same passion that drives us to always give our best.
