Este fin de semana no fue el que habíamos soñado. A veces, en el deporte como en la vida, los resultados no reflejan el esfuerzo, el compromiso y la preparación previa. En Casella, Génova (Italia), nos enfrentamos a un circuito exigente de 82 km, con un trazado técnico y duro que puso a prueba a todos los participantes.

A complicated European Championship focused on continued growth

This weekend wasn’t what we had dreamed of. Sometimes, in sports as in life, results don’t reflect the effort, commitment, and preparation. In Casella, Genoa (Italy), we faced a demanding 82-km circuit, with a tough, technical layout that tested all participants.

Nuestra corredora Costanza Fasoli logró una meritoria 14ª posición, luchando con entrega y constancia hasta el final. Un resultado que, si bien no representa un podio, sí refleja su valentía y capacidad para pelear en un escenario de altísimo nivel. Por otro lado, Martí Aran no pudo terminar la carrera debido a una avería mecánica que lo obligó a abandonar, algo que forma parte de la cara menos visible del ciclismo, pero que también cuenta. Las corredoras Tessa y Chiari tampoco pudieron completar el recorrido, esta vez por problemas físicos que impidieron que pudieran dar lo mejor de sí en esta ocasión. Este tipo de jornadas duelen, pero también enseñan. Son parte del proceso de crecimiento de un equipo joven, ambicioso y comprometido. Toca parar, analizar lo sucedido con calma y frialdad, sacar aprendizajes y redirigir nuestras energías hacia lo que viene.

Our rider Costanza Fasoli achieved a creditable 14th place, fighting with dedication and perseverance until the very end. A result that, while not a podium finish, does reflect her courage and ability to fight on a high-level stage. On the other hand, Martí Aran was unable to finish the race due to a mechanical failure that forced him to retire, something that is part of the less visible side of cycling, but that also counts. Riders Tessa and Chiari were also unable to complete the course, this time due to physical problems that prevented them from giving their best on this occasion. These kinds of days hurt, but they also teach. They are part of the growth process of a young, ambitious, and committed team. It’s time to stop, analyze what happened calmly and calmly, learn from it, and redirect our energies toward what’s next.
